Actuarial and Statistical Research Group (formerly CMAS) was created in 1972 as Center for Medico-Actuarial Statistics a unit of
MIB, Inc., its intend to provide a medium for compiling mortality studies
of insured lives. This role has evolved to include providing processing
infrastructure for industry studies of mortality, morbidity and investment performance. In a secure environment, with utmost confidentiality, A&S can handle the biggest research projects.
With
its experienced professional staff, A&S performs sophisticated analysis and provides full
support to actuaries, underwriters, medical directors, consulting
firms, and other industry professionals who have research needs, but
lack in-house resources to realize those goals in a timely, cost-effective
way. We assist in managing risk more effectively, spotting trends,
and evaluating applicant demographics based on product expectations
or industry benchmarks.
The staff of A&S can integrate your company’s data into on-going experience

support for the Society of Actuaries (SOA) experience studies for
